My life in Germany is doing great. God is being wonderful to me. I was in a soccer game on Saturday. It was very interesting. The young boys were very spirited that they dressed in yellow and black. There were fire crackers and smoke bombs. It was great. I've learned how to ride the train and the public bus. It is great for me because it gives me a little bit of independence. I love it. The weather here is very hot in the afternoon, but very cold in the morning and at night. It's weird. The people here told me that winter is the best part of Germany. I hope they are right. Well let me fill you in on my adventures so far. I've been at a heavy metal or what they call hard core concert. That was very interesting. The teens here drink and smoke so much. It was very shoking at me first, but then you get used to seeing that. School is great for me. The people treat me like a movie star. It is very wonderful. They recently interviewed me and they will be playing the interview on the intercom. I think I will be alittle embarrased. Well I start my German lessons tomorrow. I can't wait. The kids at school have been helping me with some of the German. I will be going to a camp with the youth of the church on friday- Sunday. I can't wait. I will also be going to Italy with my class. That will be a great experience fer me. I've been in the old town of Dresden where they have the old churches and castles. It is very beautiful at night. I love it. I am planning to take pictures of that before I leave. There is so much to see and it excites me. I've met a lot of friends in school and from church. My family is very nice. They are very wonderful. I've learned to take care of the ponies they have, how to groom them, and how to ride them properly. I've had the experience of riding bikes to top of hills and my whole body is in pain. I will adjust though. It is very beautiful here. The people are very closed-minded so I first have to start the conversation and then they start to talk to me. It is good for my social skills. I've learned a lot these past 4 weeks. I can't believe how much I've learned. It's wonderful. Everyone is really nice when you first get to know them.
